    Hello-
I'm looking on ebay for a pre mattel molly, but some that are described as pre mattel look exactly the same to me as the ones currently offered through AG. Is there a big difference? Does anyone know of a visual Molly comparison like I've seen for Felicity.

    Thanks
    Shanna

Here's a link to the post that has Cherry's album of Mollies:

Thanks for the link, but I still had a hard time telling the difference because the pictures weren't close or crisp enough. Do you think I could tell a huge difference if they were side by side. Is it much like the felicity thing?

    Thanks

Sorry, I don't have Molly (pm or mattel), but as far as I know the old and new ones are fairly similar - the biggest difference would be the eyelashes (soft vs. not-so-soft). That, of course, is very difficult to tell from pictures. Of course, there's the whole white body issue, but I personally wouldn't want a white-bodied doll (would look funny in clothes with a low neckline). If you're trying to decide between PM and mattel dolls, there's also the silver eye issue to consider (I *believe* this only happens in some PM dolls). Sorry I can't be of more help!
